EPW - Zenith, Swiss, 50mm, 18K gold original Zenith HC with beautiful raised front detail of two flying birds surrounding an urn with flowers, front inset with 7 mine cut and European cut diamonds that weigh approximately 0.47 ctw, gold cuvette bearing medallions and attributes, engine turned silvered dial, SW-SS, lever escapement, nickel damascene, s#1848761. Gross weight of assembled watch 55.9 dwt (87.0 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: Ticking somewhat sluggishly on a full wind, setting mechanism a bit sluggish to engage after crown is lifted, overhaul recommended, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, few scattered fine to micro-fine scratches, oxide to regulator assembly; dial with some scattered small spots, some darkening to portions of perimeter, some printing loss to 7, 8, and 9; fine hands, minute with some oxide; case shows little wear, dents to band at 7 and 8, prominent dings to band near 12, some lesser dings and nicks elsewhere to band, good overall engraving detail though with rub at high points, case rear opens somewhat wide of 90 degrees (to approximately 100 degrees) and has excess play at its hinge, case front lift spring needing some assistance to open lid fully; tight bow, crown shows light wear; clean plastic crystal.
